The four teams that qualified for the semifinal round of the 2026 Senior National Baseball Championship have chosen their reinforcements, a key move in the fight for this tournament's title.
The first pick went to Colón, who selected catcher Jean Carrillo from Darién. Carrillo will join the Correcaminos with the goal of providing defensive solidity and depth in the catching position during this decisive phase.
For its part, Panama West, with the second pick, opted for the left-handed pitcher Davis Romero from Coclé.
The third turn was for Chiriquí, who chose the right-handed pitcher from Coclé, Darío Agrazal, betting on his experience and control from the mound.
Finally, Bocas del Toro closed the selection round by incorporating the right-handed pitcher from the metropolitan area, Enrique Saldaña.
The semifinal round will begin this Sunday, with two series scheduled as best-of-seven.
Games will start at 7:00 PM. Panama West will face Chiriquí at the Kenny Serracín stadium; while Colón will face Bocas del Toro at the Calvin Byron stadium.
