Panama, December 8, 2025 — A man between 55 and 60 years old was found dead next to a bicycle in the area known as La Pista, on the road to La Cotaba, in Pueblos Unidos, Aguadulce (Coclé). According to reports, a resident of the area saw the man lying on the side of the road and called the paramedics of the Unique System for Emergency Management (Sume 911); unfortunately, the specialists could do nothing more than determine that he had no vital signs. During the assistance, paramedics noticed that the victim had a head trauma (injury to the head), so it will be investigated whether it is a hit-and-run case. Supposedly, the man had been consuming alcoholic beverages hours before being found, at a commercial establishment located more than 200 meters from the scene. For this reason, it is also not ruled out that he fell off the bicycle and hit his head. Units from the Traffic Directorate and Accidentology arrived at the scene to conduct initial investigations into the case, while the body was being recovered.
