This afternoon, in the district of Anton, Coclé province, on the main road to Playa Blanca, a violent head-on collision between two dump trucks resulted in two deaths and one serious injury. The injured person was transported to the Aquilino Tejeira Hospital in Penonomé, reported Sublieutenant Hernán Gutiérrez of the Honorable Fire Corps. The bodies of the two deceased were trapped between the metal parts of the chassis, requiring the use of hydraulic tools to free them. The road to Playa Blanca has a speed limit of 40 kilometers per hour. So far this year, 11 people have died in traffic accidents in Coclé province, four of them this April.
