Chiquita, as part of the restart of banana operations in the Bocas del Toro province, announces that the five partnering companies will hold recruitment fairs for the communities of the Changuinola district. These events, scheduled for November 2025, aim to create new job opportunities in field work, harvesting, and cultivation, which will be reactivated between November 2025 and March 2026. The fairs will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the following locations: November 11 at Finca 13 Packing House (Las Tablas Assets, farms 44, 45, 46, 47); November 12 at Finca 41 Packing House (Guabito Assets, farms 41, 43, 53); November 13 at Finca 65 Packing House (Las 30 Assets, farms 15, 24, 32, 33, 85); November 14 at Finca 45 Packing House (Las 60 Assets, farms 62, 63, 64, 65, 66); November 15 at Finca 33 Packing House (Finca 8 Internacional, farms 02, 03, 11, 12, 13). To participate, applicants must present a copy of their personal ID on both sides, their bank account number accompanied by a certification document, an active email address, a police record, and a health certificate, all with a validity of no more than one month. It is recommended that each person attends the fair organized by the partnering company closest to their place of residence and does not attend with children. These initiatives, led by the Ministry of Labor and Labor Development, reaffirm the commitment to job creation, sustainable development, and community well-being, strengthening an industry that for over 125 years has contributed to the economic and social growth of Bocas del Toro and Panama.
