Panamanian Police Search for Suspect in 'Chicho' Murder in Changuinola

Panamanian authorities are searching for 18-year-old Johan Daniel Rivera Arosemena, a suspect in the deprivation of liberty and homicide of Boris Guerra Rowe (27). In connection with this case, two other suspects were arrested and charged last October. The victim, known as 'Chicho', was kidnapped on September 23rd last year outside his grandmother's house in the district of Changuinola, Bocas del Toro province. It was almost a week and a half after his disappearance that his decomposed body was located in a clandestine grave on a banana farm, not far from where he was abducted. The day after the authorities found Chicho's body, the first two suspects were apprehended, as they were identified thanks to a video from a surveillance system that captured the moment of the kidnapping. Therefore, the Homicide and Femicide Section of the Regional Prosecutor's Office of Bocas del Toro and the National Police ask anyone with information that can help locate Rivera to contact them confidentially at the phones 750-0169 or 750-0425.
