This weekend, following an operation by the National Border Service's (Senafront) Anti-Drug, Intelligence, and Motorized Immediate Reaction Group, the capture of alias 'Panther' was achieved. He was traveling in a taxi in the Las Margaritas area of Chepo when he was apprehended. Upon inspection of the vehicle, two packages of alleged illicit substances were found. Coordination was made with the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Drug-Related Crimes of Panama, after which the individual was placed at the disposal of the competent authorities. During the hearing held yesterday, Sunday, he was charged with the crime Against Collective Security in the modality of Aggravated Possession of drugs, to the detriment of society. The guarantees court ordered the PROVISIONAL DETENTION of this subject. Unofficial information indicates that alias 'Panther' has a long criminal record.
