At noon on Friday, the body of a man was found by workers at a private farm in the Mata del Nance community, in the Las Lomas district of David, Chiriquí province. The man, aged between 40 and 55, was discovered by laborers as they were working. He was wearing black shorts, a blue sweater, and had a tattoo on his chest. It is presumed the man was murdered, as there was visible blood on his hands and other signs of violence. Following the unexpected discovery, the workers informed the farm owner, who then contacted the National Police. The police coordinated with the Public Ministry to recover the body. Once the procedure was complete, the body was transported to the judicial morgue, where a necropsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
