A traffic accident recorded early Saturday morning left one person dead in the district of David, Chiriquí. The incident occurred at 3:30 AM on the road towards Aguacatal, in front of the Villa Patricia residential area, where a vehicle ended up involved in a strong impact against a fixed object. Preliminary reports indicate that the driver lost control of the car, causing it to roll over after hitting the sidewalk. The victim was ejected from the vehicle during the accident. Authorities, who arrived at the scene to handle the situation, confirmed that the victim is a 30-year-old man. It is preliminarily presumed that he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of impact. Investigations have been opened to determine the causes of the accident.
