Authorities found the body of a person in an advanced state of decomposition inside a home located in the San Cristóbal area, David district, Chiriquí province. According to residents, it was a strong bad odor that alerted them that something was wrong in the residence. For now, the victim's age, identity, and possible cause of death have not been revealed. Neighbors presume the body belongs to a man. They also indicated that very close to the house there is a cantina, so it is suspected that his death may be related to alcohol consumption. It will be through the necessary autopsy that it will be determined if the death occurred naturally or if there is criminal involvement in the fact.
