APM Terminals Panama reported that operations at the Port of Balboa (Pacific) are advancing towards the operational scalability phase of the terminal, maintaining Panama's logistics hub for the benefit of regional and global trade. According to the company, 100% of personnel training on the new operating system has been completed, as well as the employer substitution for all collaborators. Operationally, over 3,900 movements have been made on five container ships, and per gate, more than 900 truck movements have been completed between exports, imports, and the receipt of empty containers. Likewise, container dispatch by rail, service to general cargo vessels, and vehicle delivery for the local market continue. Under the supervision of the Panama Maritime Authority, the terminal's asset inventory was concluded, and in coordination with the Minister of Labor and Labor Development, Jacqueline Muñoz, the entire employer substitution process at the port was managed.
