
The teacher unions have called for an urgent meeting on March 14 and 15 at the University of Panama. The meeting will take place in the José Dolores Moscote auditorium of the Faculty of Economics, starting at 8 a.m. with the participation of leaders from social movements.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss and make decisions regarding Law 163, which is currently in effect. It is expected that during these two days, various points related to the mentioned law and its impact on the educational and social sphere of Panama will be addressed.
In the words of one of the organizers: "It is crucial that all stakeholders involved can express their views and contribute ideas to find solutions that benefit the educational community and society in general."
The call has generated expectations in the educational sector and it is hoped that the results of this meeting will help clarify doubts and define possible actions to take in relation to Law 163.
