Panama's Christian Community Presents One of the Largest Christmas Floats

Panama's Christian community participated in the 'City Of Stars' Christmas parade with one of the largest floats, with security provided by 5,000 agents and attracting thousands of spectators.

The Christian community of the country participated in the parade with a float that is approximately three meters tall, positioning it as one of the largest on the 3.5-kilometer route. The event also featured comparsas and international delegations during an evening that lasted for more than five hours. Even the rain did not stop hundreds of people from enjoying this Christmas Eve. The design includes a nativity scene depicting the birth of Jesus, the Virgin Mary, and the Child God, reinforcing the central message of the celebration during the Christmas parade. A total of 5,000 security agents ensured surveillance, and the Panama Metro operated until midnight. The float had contributions from the churches Aviva Vive Feliz, Comunidad Apostólica Hosanna, Avanzada Juvenil, Manantial, and the Christian Worship Center Unidos, from Chiriquí; as well as the Quadrangular Church. The 'City Of Stars' Christmas Parade took place yesterday, Sunday, on Calle 50, and was led by the mayor of the capital, Mayer Mizrachi, who shared the moment with the attendees. This year, 30 floats and 92 cultural delegations and musical bands participated in the event. Logistics for both transportation and security were prepared for this event.
