Historic Triumph: Miss Cosmo Panama Returns Home as a Hero

Italy Mora, Miss Cosmo Panama 2025, was triumphantly welcomed at the airport after her successful performance at the international pageant in Vietnam, where she reached the 'Top 5' and won one of the special awards, the Cosmo Beauty Icon Award. Her return was a historic event for Panama. Mora, who was previously dethroned as Miss Universe Panama 2024, made a remarkable comeback. This marked the country's debut in the pageant, and Panama was the only nation from Central America to qualify for the 'Top 5'. Fernando Vera, the national director of Missmo Panama, expressed his deepest gratitude and admiration for Mora. He emphasized that she not only represented the country but 'carried with her the passion, love, and pride of all of Panama, which vibrated with her at every moment'. Upon her arrival in Panama, Mora arrived wearing a red outfit and proudly holding her Miss Cosmo Panama sash. Later, she was welcomed at a dinner, and on December 26, a party will be held in her honor. Vera added in a statement: 'Her impeccable performance, discipline, elegance, and strength made the name of Panama shine brightly on this international stage'. He also noted that Mora's participation 'will be remembered as a memorable chapter for Panama and the organization, and will be etched as an achievement full of emotion, dedication, and love for her country'. At Tocumen International Airport's terminal one, she was met by a crowd with flowers, banners, and a folk ensemble. People approached to congratulate her, hug her, and take photos. Among the constantly repeated phrases were: 'We love you, Italy Mora'.
