The Panama Crossroads 2026 festival will connect music, gastronomy, and technology in Amadora. This was announced during a press conference at the Hyatt Regency Panama City. The festival, taking place from January 29 to 31 in Amadora and La Manzana, confirms its evolution as a multisensory platform. Lloyd Keene, the event's director, highlighted the festival's exponential growth, increasing from 20 to 60 artists and from 2,000 to 15,000 attendees.
The musical lineup this year is historic, marking the first time the legendary Cuban group Orishas will perform in Panama, headlining the stage on Friday, January 30. Additionally, the festival will feature a free educational program in La Manzana, presented by the Spanish Cultural Center, including panels with industry figures and local authorities.
The festival has formalized an agreement with the Panama City Mayor's Office to be integrated into the city's official calendar of activities under the brand «I Star Panama». Heineken remains the official presenter, with sponsors including Hyatt Regency, Adidas, Levi's, Ron Abuelo, and the University of the Isthmus.
As part of its technological innovation, Panama Crossroads 2026 will launch the official «WOOV – Festival Companion» app. This tool will allow users to create personalized schedules, access interactive maps, manage digital tickets through Tiki Tickets, and connect with the festival community via real-time chats.
On Saturday, January 31, rapper Residente will perform on the Heineken Stage. The culinary component returns with the Gastrofest under the concept «6 chefs, 6 gastronomies, 1 stage». This unique experience will feature figures like Cuquita Arias de Calvo, Andrea Pinzón, Fulvio Miranda, Andrés Morataya, Alex Rodríguez, Armando J. Bramwell, and Joseph Archibold, who will cook live and in unison.
