In honor of International Women's Month, Hard Rock Hotels and Coca-Cola announced the launch of 'Women Empower', a series of six micro-documentaries designed to highlight the impact of women in the music industry. The central objective is to celebrate the creative processes, challenges, and achievements of female profiles who have made a significant difference both on and off stage, reaffirming the commitment of both companies to empowerment and equity in social and professional spaces. The series features six internationally recognized women: Janelle Abraham, director and producer from Trinidad and Tobago; Kat Luna, a Cuban-American singer-songwriter; Minami, a Japanese artist, composer, dancer, and singer; Claire Murphy, an English guitar technician; Mayna Nevarez, founder of Nevarez Communications; and Wendy Ong, co-president of TaP Music. Leonel Reyes, Director for Latin America of the chain behind Hard Rock Hotels An All-Inclusive Experience, expressed the organization's pride in being part of this project led by Hard Rock International. Tara Rowland, Director of Client Marketing at The Coca-Cola Company, highlighted the value of purpose-driven alliances. This project arises as a response to the low female representation in the sector, estimated at just 5% of global participation. The initiative is part of a strategic alliance between the two brands that contemplates various activities throughout the month of March.
