Early yesterday morning, after 4:00 a.m., residents of the El Sitio area encountered a horrific scene: a body tied hand and foot with a bag over its head. Initially, it was not known if the victim was male or female, as the face was not visible. However, during the examination, experts from the Institute of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences (Imelcf) removed the bag from the body, revealing that the victim was a man. It appears the victim was shot on the spot, as units from the Homicide and Femicide Prosecutor's Office, along with agents from the Judicial Investigation Directorate (DIJ), collected nine firearm casings near the body. The preliminary hypothesis for the case could be related to a settling of accounts linked to organized crime. The man's identity will be known during the mandatory autopsy and fingerprinting. The victim was hit by seven of the bullets.
