This Sunday, March 29, 2026, the Albrook Metro station in Panama will change its schedule. The station will open at 12:00 PM due to the second phase of installing the roof structure that will connect lines 1 and 3. During the weekend, lifting operations for the new roof are being carried out at the station, specifically in the area of the pedestrian walkway that connects to the Transport Terminal. This is a high-traffic area with more complicated access, so the work requires adjustments to the usual operation. In the morning, Line 1 of the Panama Metro will operate normally from 7:00 AM, covering the route between 5 de Mayo and Villa Zaita. After the midday opening, work will continue inside the station without affecting the safety of users. The entity indicated that these works are part of the integration process between Line 1 and Line 3 of the Panama Metro, a key point to improve the system's connection in the city.
