Panama - Joamet J. Farley, 37, was killed last night while on 13th Street in the El Chorrillo district, near the Colonel Museum. Preliminary information details that at around 7:20 p.m., an exchange of shots presumably took place between members of criminal groups operating in the area, as a result of which Farley was hit by several bullets. Residents of the sector, seeing what happened, rushed to help Farley and took him to Santo Tomás Hospital, but 10 minutes after the armed attack, he was declared dead by the on-duty doctor. After the death was confirmed, units of the National Police carried out a series of operations in different points of this red zone, which resulted in Linces units locating a 40 caliber pistol with 5 ammunition at the crime scene and a 9mm weapon without a magazine or ammunition under a vehicle.
