The Ministry of Health (Minsa) clarifies to the general public that it did not order the demolition of the kiosks located on the servitude in front of the National Oncology Institute. The Metropolitan Health Region, after health operations, detected sanitary irregularities in several of these businesses, for which reason it ordered their temporary closure, but not their demolition. In the Metropolitan Health Region, there are 8 files dating from 2025, which, after evaluations carried out by Public Health personnel, show shortcomings and deficiencies that do not allow the inspected premises to have a health certificate. In response to the above point, it was declared by Resolution of the Metropolitan Health Region the TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ACTIVITIES of the commercial establishment. The measure of TEMPORARY SUSPENSION was notified to the owners of the establishments, and their signature of receipt can be verified in the premises' files. This temporary suspension is conditional on the mitigation and correction of violations of current health regulations. Minsa reiterates that it does not have the legal power to order the demolition of any structure or premises of health interest.
