The guild reaffirmed its historical commitment to promoting actions that directly benefit the pharmaceutical professional and ensure the health of the Panamanian population. During the working session, critical points for the development of the activity were analyzed, highlighting the urgency of strengthening specialized human resources in both public and private establishments. The participants emphasized the decisive role played by the pharmacy professional in the rational use of medicines, therapeutic adherence, and, primarily, in ensuring patient safety. Likewise, the need to implement significant improvements in the infrastructure of pharmaceutical establishments to meet the required quality standards was discussed. The agenda included the review of relevant guild issues, among which the advances achieved through the 2015 supplementary addendum stood out. These instances will be in charge of giving technical follow-up to the agreements reached and ensuring the execution of the projects presented.
