So far in November, an increase in the weight of discarded clothing has been observed, with 50% of the waste recycled. A total of 1,000 kg of discarded clothing has been collected. Additionally, 108 tons of trash have been collected during beach cleanups in the city of Panama.
During the cleanup activities at various beaches, a considerable amount of waste has been removed, demonstrating an increasing commitment to environmental care.
One of the organizers of the initiative shared his opinion on the matter, stating: "It is encouraging to see how more people are joining these cleanup and recycling efforts. We are becoming more aware of the importance of preserving our natural environment and reducing pollution."
These efforts reflect a positive change in the environmental awareness of the population, as well as an important step towards promoting sustainable practices and fostering a culture of conservation.
