President of the Victoriano Lorenzo Internationalist Foundation, Alcibíades Villareta Hernández, paid a cordial visit to the Embassy of Nicaragua in Panama. The objective of the visit was to strengthen ties with Nicaragua and explore forms of collaboration. Villareta thanked Ambassador Carlos Midence for the warm reception and informed him about the Foundation. He also spoke about its origins as the Victoriano Lorenzo Brigade, named after the Panamanian indigenous hero and leader, which was composed of numerous compatriots who participated in the Insurrection against the dictatorship at the end of the 1970s in Nicaragua. Likewise, he spoke about its transformation into an Internationalist Foundation and the work it currently carries out in the social and community sphere in Panamanian society. On behalf of Nicaragua, Comrade Midence conveyed the fraternal greeting in the name of the Sandinista Good Government, led by Co-Presidents Comandante Daniel Ortega and Compañera Rosario Murillo, and the people of Nicaragua. He also gave an account of the advances, achievements, and transformations for the benefit of the people in all areas, developed in Nicaragua, as a result of a Revolutionary Development Model that prioritizes the common good, social justice, and peace as a supreme good. To conclude, the parties thanked for the information and expressed their interest in exploring ways to strengthen collaboration and the historical brotherly exchange with our Nicaragua, a nation that advances firmly in its values, building peace with dignity, prosperity, and sovereignty.
