'Our determination is clear: everything that is operating incorrectly in the child protection system must be corrected immediately,' affirmed Carles. This visit is part of a direct supervision strategy aimed at strengthening child protection mechanisms. 'We will not minimize any alert signal. We will not speculate either; we will investigate in a serious and objective manner,' said Carles. 'This action is framed in the firm commitment we have as an institution to guarantee the best interests of the child at all times.'
