This project aims to become a landmark in urban infrastructure, integrating sustainable mobility, innovation, and accessibility.

Direct connection between the capital and West Panama

According to the Mayor's Office, the initiative aims to improve urban mobility, connect strategic points, and strengthen public spaces for both residents and visitors. The tunnel would allow for a direct, safe, and accessible connection between the city of Panama and West Panama, benefiting pedestrians and cyclists who currently lack such a crossing over the canal.

A modern vision for the city

"We are presenting this idea because we believe in a capital that forges new paths, that innovates, and that puts people at the center. If Panama is selected, it would be a historic achievement for our infrastructure and for the future of our citizens," expressed Mayor Mizrachi, highlighting that the project reflects a modern and sustainable vision for the city.
