One of the most significant milestones during this period was obtaining the EQUAA 2025 international institutional accreditation with a four-star rating, positioning the university as the only one in the country with this recognition. Under the 'Huellas del Istmo' program, 68 applications were processed in 2025, resulting in 15 awarded initiatives and one special mention. The University of the Isthmus formally presented its accountability report for 2025, an exercise aligned with its institutional transparency policies, sharing the results achieved in academic quality and transformative training experience. Likewise, the call for the 2026 edition of 'Huellas del Istmo' was confirmed, inviting new organizations to submit projects for community well-being. The ceremony was distinguished by its 'Zero Waste' format, reaffirming the institution's environmental care values. Finally, from the Academic Vice-Rectorate, the goals for 2026 were announced, including the organization of the International Congress of Psychology and the International Congress of Air, Maritime, and Logistics (CIAMLO), whose headquarters will be Bogotá, Colombia. Cardozo Real emphasized that these results demonstrate how higher education generates a real impact on society, driving programs like 'Huellas del Istmo,' aimed at recognizing projects that favor sustainable development. In the academic pillar, the University of the Isthmus promoted high-level meetings such as the IV Congress of the Network of Deans of Education of Latin American Universities (REDECANEDU). According to the report, the University of the Isthmus benefited 109,530 people through various social projection projects carried out jointly with foundations and allied organizations throughout the national territory. Juan Pablo Cardozo Real, the institution's rector, noted in the third person that this accountability practice reflects a genuine commitment to responsible management. During the event, advances in the educational model were detailed through the implementation of practical learning, innovation, and applied research that strengthens the preparation of the university community. Within the financial and social results, the institution highlighted the reach of its sustainability strategy.
