The tranquility in the Santa Isabel sector, in the Pacora district, was disrupted this Thursday morning following a new bloody incident that left a man dead inside a building. According to preliminary information provided by police units, they responded to the area after receiving reports of several explosions in the sector. Upon arriving at the scene, officers located the lifeless body of a male inside the residence. The victim was found with a firearm in his right hand. Initial inquiries indicate that two hooded individuals may have participated in the attack and subsequently fled the scene. Authorities are analyzing surveillance cameras in the area and gathering testimonies to establish the dynamics of the homicide. It has been unofficially learned that the victim had a criminal record and had been incarcerated at La Joya Penitentiary for a crime against public faith, from which he was released in early January. It has also been reported that the man had allegedly received previous threats to leave the area, although this aspect is part of the investigations being conducted by the authorities. Units of the Judicial Investigation Directorate (DIJ), along with personnel from the Public Ministry, are carrying out the corresponding procedures at the scene to try to identify and locate the responsible parties for this new homicide registered in the eastern sector of the capital.
