The U.S. Ambassador to Panama, Kevin Marino Cabrera, along with his wife, the Panamanian Andrea Altamirano Duque, shared on his Instagram account a series of official photographs from their wedding, held last Saturday, March 21, at the diplomatic residence in La Cresta, Panama City.

The carefully produced images show various moments of the couple in an elegant and sober setting. The first photograph, in black and white, presents the couple looking at each other face to face in the garden of the residence. The second, in warm and sepia tones, captures them full-length, in profile, on one of the main interior staircases. In the third image, the couple is shown descending the stairs in a more dynamic scene, while the fourth displays them posing full-length in one of the residence's halls, with a grand piano as part of the decoration.

The wedding became one of the most talked-about social events of the weekend in the Panamanian capital, bringing together figures from the political, business, and social spheres. The celebration was enlivened by the so-called 'godparents of cumbia,' Samy and Sandra Sandoval. The evening was also accompanied by the Panamanian band Los Rabanes, who performed several of their best-known hits. Among the attendees were Minister of Public Security Frank Ábrego, as well as the mayor of Panama City, Mayer Mizrachi, who shared images of the celebration on social media.

Singer Sandra Sandoval also posted photographs with the newlyweds, reflecting the joyful atmosphere that marked the night. Cabrera arrived in Panama on April 28 of last year to assume diplomatic duties. The murga of Calle Abajo from Las Tablas also participated, adding a festive and traditional touch to the evening.

Among the attendees were local authorities, businesspeople, family members, and close friends of the couple. In less than a year in the country, the 35-year-old ambassador began a relationship with Altamirano Duque that culminated in marriage, an event that combined diplomatic protocol with expressions of Panamanian culture.
