A 45-year-old man identified as Rolando Daniel Ruiz Flórez was gunned down on Tuesday afternoon in the rear of the Vértigo building, on the ground floor, in the Calidonia district. According to initial reports, the victim was from the province of Colón and had a criminal record, information that is part of the verifications being carried out by the authorities during the investigation. Preliminary data suggests that Ruiz Flórez was allegedly linked to the "Pentagon" group, and the motive for the crime points to possible feuds between criminal structures, one of the lines being pursued by the authorities. Following the incident, the National Police deployed a major operation in Calidonia, while the Public Ministry initiated investigations to clarify the facts, gather evidence, and locate those responsible.
