A 53-year-old man with schizophrenia, who went missing, has been found safe and sound during a joint operation by authorities and local residents.

Panama – This Tuesday afternoon, Mr. Agudino Ríos Camargo, 53, was found safe and sound after an intense search operation carried out by personnel from the National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc) and residents of El Coco, in Penonomé. The elderly man, who suffers from schizophrenia, was reported missing by his family on Monday afternoon, after he was last seen in the Miraflores area, on the road to the El Coco district. From the early hours of this Tuesday, November 11th, Sinaproc activated the search in the sector. Upon his location, the man was transferred to the 'Aquilino Tejeira' Hospital in Penonomé, where his health condition will be evaluated, as dehydration is not ruled out.
