In Coclé province, Panama, an elderly man, aged between 60 and 65 with partial visual impairment, died in the early hours of today after being struck by a vehicle on Manuel Amador Guerrero Street in Penonomé. Following the impact, the man was taken to the emergency room of the Aquilino Tejeira Hospital, located in the same district where the fatal traffic accident occurred, but he died minutes after his admission. At the scene of the accident, personnel from the Public Ministry arrived to initiate the investigation of this crime against life, classified as negligent homicide, to determine the responsibility of both the pedestrian and the driver in the incident.
Elderly Man Killed in Hit-and-Run in Panama
