This was her first title defense since winning the belt. The historic fight took place in Santiago de Veraguas. Delago defeated Mexican Arlenn Sanchez in the main event of the evening, held at the Gran David Hotel. This venue marked the first time a world championship boxing match was held outside Panama City. The judges' scorecards were all in favor of Delgado: 99-90, 98-91, and 99-90. "This was a historic night for boxing in Santiago de Veraguas," said the organizers. With this victory, Nataly Delgado concludes her most successful year in her career and plans for a second title defense in 2026.
