The General Manager of the National Bank of Panama (BNP), Javier Carrizo, has expressed the need to carefully analyze future financial flows and consider the advisability of diversifying the risks of those funds. He emphasized that it is essential to anticipate possible scenarios in order to make sound decisions in the future.

Carrizo pointed out that he has a meeting scheduled with the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) and the Social Security Fund (CSS) to examine the current situation and financial projections. In this regard, he highlighted the importance of thoroughly reviewing the reforms proposed by the Executive, as they could significantly impact the fund flows of the CSS.

In his statements, the General Manager of the BNP emphasized: "If the reforms are passed as proposed by the Executive, the flow of funds from the CSS will be much greater."
