The Ministry of Culture has obtained approval for two budget transfers totaling B/.7.9 million. This decision was made by the Budget Commission in favor of five institutions.
One of the approved budget transfers is for the amount of B/.6.9 million, allocated for the construction of a monument to national heroes, artists, and athletes. Additionally, B/.1 million was assigned to a technological implementation project in cultural centers.
In this regard, the Minister of Culture stated: "These funds are essential for the development of projects that promote our cultural identity and strengthen access to culture throughout the country." The approval of these budget transfers represents a significant boost for cultural initiatives in Panama.
