The National Bank of Panama has closed the union's account and canceled its credit card. The syndicate was officially informed about this in a written message signed by the bank's general director.
"We received notification about the account closure and the cancellation of the credit card," the union reported. "This negatively impacts our activities and financial operations."
Representatives of the union intend to contact the bank to understand the reasons for such a decision and to seek possible options for resolving the situation. "We hope for a constructive dialogue with the bank to find a solution acceptable to both parties," the report noted.
