The Financial Analysis Unit (UAF) has clarified the information disseminated by the Chilean digital media "Interferencia." The Director of the UAF, Darío Herrera, states that he has not made any statement related to the news from the mentioned media, which suggests that they are collaborating with authorities in New York in a case involving a cryptocurrency called "$Libra" and the company KIP Network Inc. from Panama.

The results of the analyses conducted by the UAF will be communicated exclusively to the competent authorities in cases where there are indications of activities related to money laundering, terrorism financing, or the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. The Financial Analysis Unit acts as the central point in the country to receive reports on suspicious transactions and cash management by obligated entities.
