The Ministry of Public Works (MOP) of Panama has enabled durapatcher trucks, acquired in 2017, to facilitate quick paving, improving the country's road infrastructure.

The Ministry of Public Works (MOP) has put into operation the durapatcher trucks, acquired in 2017 at a cost of B/. 203,741 each, totaling B/. 1,018,709.

These trucks are equipped with technology that allows for quick and efficient paving work on the roads of Panama. With this incorporation, it is expected to streamline and improve road maintenance processes throughout the country.

According to statements from the MOP, the durapatchers are a fundamental tool to ensure the safety of drivers and pedestrians, as well as to maintain the road infrastructure of Panama in optimal conditions.

One of the representatives of the Ministry highlighted: "We are committed to continuing to strengthen our capabilities and modernizing our work techniques to provide quality service to citizens. The durapatcher trucks are a demonstration of this effort".

With the commissioning of these specialized trucks, it is expected to reduce the time needed to fix potholes and other damages to the asphalt surface, contributing to safer and smoother traffic on the country’s roads. The investment made aims to optimize resources and improve road infrastructure for the benefit of all Panamanians.
