IDAAN Suspends Service Cutoffs Due to System Issues

The IDAAN commercial system is experiencing intermittent issues affecting service payments nationwide. Cutoffs for non-payment are temporarily suspended starting March 6, 2025.


The IDAAN commercial system platform is experiencing interruptions that are affecting the performance of services at its agency counters nationwide, especially regarding the payment of bills for the supply of drinking water. In light of this situation, a statement has been issued informing that actions for disconnection due to non-payment scheduled to start on March 6, 2025, have been temporarily suspended.

The statement invites users to make their payments through the network of commission agency offices and electronic means. Despite the interruptions, it is emphasized that IDAAN agencies remain available to assist customers with inquiries, complaints, contracts, issuance of payment certificates, among other services.

IDAAN assures that it will be constantly updating about the restoration of normal payment system operations and the estimated date for the resumption of disconnections due to non-payment.
