The president of the Republic, José Raúl Mulino Quintero, met on the morning of this Wednesday with the board of the National Council of Private Enterprise (CoNEP) to address concerns related to the economic and social impacts caused by strikes in the construction, health, and public education sectors. The president was accompanied by ministers Lucy Molinar (Education), Fernando Boyd Galindo (Health), and Jackeline Muñoz (Labor and Workforce Development), as well as the Secretary of Economic Affairs and Competitiveness, Kristelle Getzler.

Also present at the meeting was the president of CoNEP, Gabriel Diez, along with executives and advisors from the guild. During the meeting, the president emphasized that while the National Government respects the citizens' right to protest, it is essential to guarantee the right to free transit. All participants agreed on the importance of fostering dialogue instead of adopting radical stances that could harm education, public health, and employment-generating projects in the country.

The entrepreneurs of CoNEP expressed their interest in the National Government and various sectors finding ways to collaborate to promote the country's progress. In this regard, they expressed their desire to prevent current strikes from causing further damage to the national economy.
