In the words of Raúl Guizado, "the results obtained during the first quarter of the year demonstrate the strength and stability of the International Banking Center of Panama. This growth in the loan portfolio reflects an increase in economic activity and in investor confidence in the country."
Additionally, it was highlighted that all market segments, both local and international, had positive performance during this period. This is reflected in an increase in deposit collection and loan placement in various sectors of the Panamanian economy.
Regarding future prospects, it is expected that the International Banking Center of Panama will continue to perform well throughout the year, despite challenging global economic conditions. Raúl Guizado emphasized the importance of continuing to strengthen banking regulation and supervision to ensure the stability and solvency of the Panamanian financial system.
