IFARHU makes PASE-U scholarship payments today and tomorrow nationwide

The Institute for Training and Human Resources Development (IFARHU) began this Thursday, November 6, 2025, the delivery of checks corresponding to the Universal Social Educational Assistance Program (PASE-U), benefiting thousands of elementary, middle, and high school students across the country. Payments will continue tomorrow, Friday, November 7, according to the schedule released by the entity. The disbursements include both active students and those who had pending payments from 2024, and are being made at various educational centers and regional IFARHU headquarters. The institution explained that guardians must present the student's and tutor's valid ID card and verify that the name appears on the published lists. IFARHU emphasized that beneficiaries who have changed schools must confirm that their academic record transfer has been validated by the Ministry of Education (Meduca), as otherwise they will not be able to receive the check. “PASE-U guarantees the permanence of students in the education system, and their continuity depends on compliance with school attendance,” recalled the general director of IFARHU, who urged parents to keep their children's academic information up to date. The entity also announced that in some regions, special payment points have been set up to avoid crowds, especially in the districts of Betania, San Francisco, Pueblo Nuevo, and Curundú, where a high concentration of beneficiaries is reported. With this disbursement, the Government seeks to alleviate the financial burden on families and reinforce its policy of support for public education, at a time when school retention remains a national challenge.
