Panamanian Comptroller Restores SÍGUEME Platform

The Comptroller General of the Republic has reported that the SÍGUEME platform, which allows for the online tracking of procedures and documents, has been fully restored. This guarantees free and unrestricted access to all available information. SÍGUEME, which actually corresponds to the System for Tracking, Control, Access, and Auditing of Documents (SCAFID), is a digital tool created so that citizens can track the status of their procedures in a simple and transparent manner. The platform offers public, free, and open-access information, with the aim of providing greater transparency and facilitating user interaction with the Comptroller General. The entity also emphasized that the user registration process remains active. This measure allows for the dynamic identification of unusual query patterns that could indicate attempts to saturate or block the service. In such cases, restrictions will be activated only for those anomalous accesses, without affecting legitimate users who consult the platform regularly. To follow up on their procedures or to receive additional assistance, citizens can use the SÍGUEME platform or contact the Citizen Attention Center (Call Center) by calling 510-4144.
