Starting November 14, fuel prices in Panama will rise. Gasoline and diesel will increase by a few cents per liter as part of a regular adjustment linked to international market fluctuations.


Fuel price increase hits Panamanians' wallets

Panama is facing another fuel price increase. New prices will be in effect from November 14 to 28, 2025, as part of the biweekly adjustment the government makes based on fluctuations in the international hydrocarbon market. According to the National Energy Secretariat, these adjustments reflect slight increases in the prices per liter of the main fuels, which are made every 14 days in accordance with the international quotations of finished products on the US Gulf Coast. The details of the increases are as follows:

  • 91-octane gasoline: Increase of 0.035 cents per liter.
  • 95-octane gasoline: Increase of 0.032 cents per liter.
  • Diesel: Increase of 0.045 cents per liter.
