Thousands of Panamanians adopt World ID to accelerate digital privacy. One year after its arrival in Panama, World, the network of real humans, reaffirms its mission to strengthen digital trust and privacy, driving the adoption of World ID in the country. These alliances reinforce the platform's vision of digital inclusion and position it as a global actor with significant local impact, with integrations spanning entertainment, finance, and human verification. Carlos Ángel, General Manager of Panama and the Andean Region at Tools for Humanity, a partner company of World, highlighted the company's commitment. "World was born to create a trusted network where every human can participate digitally while maintaining control over their information," explained Ángel. Currently, over 17.5 million people globally have privately verified their humanity with World ID. The company has promoted the adoption of advanced privacy technologies in the country, achieving that thousands of Panamanians have verified their humanity using World ID to be part of this global network that promotes online authenticity. Since its launch in November 2024, World has experienced solid growth in the Panamanian territory. The ecosystem's application, World App, exceeds 37 million users and facilitates over 100 mini-apps that integrate financial, educational, and social services, all designed to consolidate a safer and more human-centric digital environment.
"Our commitment in Panama is to continue bringing technology closer to people, demonstrating that privacy and innovation can safely coexist".
Pillars of Security and Transparency of World ID. In a context where digital trust is fundamental, World has implemented a series of unique innovations to ensure that the user maintains full control of their information. In parallel with identity verification, the World App application and the Worldcoin (WLD) token have contributed to democratizing access to assets and services of the global digital economy. Digital Inclusion and Strategic Alliances. World maintains an active presence at the national level and has concluded strategic collaborations with actors of regional and international relevance, including Conmebol, Mundo Arjona, Razer, Visa, and Match Group. This boom is attributed to the interest of a more connected population that is increasingly aware of the need to differentiate between humans and bots to access various applications and online platforms.
