MOP in Los Santos Rehabilitates Productive Road

The Ministry of Public Works (MOP) in Los Santos is rehabilitating a productive road between Tres Quebradas and Llano Abajo. Over 2,000 users of the route, specifically on the La Peña section, which runs through the Los Santos and Guararé districts, are benefiting from rehabilitation work carried out by MOP's maintenance staff. MOP reaffirms its commitment to the continuous improvement of rural road infrastructure. These works are part of an essential initiative to optimize this key production road. Tasks carried out by MOP in Los Santos include scarification and road formation. These actions are part of the broader program for the adaptation and improvement of rural roads, which are crucial for the transport of agricultural products, as well as for general mobility and the movement of residents in the province of Los Santos. Iván Espino, regional director of MOP, stated that the rehabilitations are part of a maintenance plan that is implemented progressively in various districts. "We are monitoring the roads in different parts of the province through a schedule that allows us to rotate equipment and timely address the needs of the communities," clarified Director Espino. Additionally, the official confirmed that similar work was carried out last week in the Tonosí district, reinforcing the rehabilitation of other routes considered strategic for producers and transporters in that region.
