Starting this Friday, January 9, fuel prices are changing again in Panama. It's not a drop to celebrate, but it is noticeable, especially for those who make a living driving and for those who check every week how far a full tank will take them. 95-octane gasoline has decreased to B/.0.840 per liter. 91-octane gasoline has barely moved, staying at B/.0.782, while low-sulfur diesel has dropped more significantly, settling at B/.0.763. Compared to the previous adjustment, which was in effect since late December, there is a clear difference. In the capital, 95-octane gasoline fell from B/.0.864 to B/.0.840, and diesel dropped from B/.0.806 to B/.0.763. It's not a gift, but it helps, especially in transportation, freight, and buses. These prices are in effect until January 23, 2026.
