In order for entrepreneurs and tourism promoters in the province of Veraguas to have the necessary tools to improve their businesses, the Ministry of Culture has presented its new digital application. The Vice Minister of this portfolio, Ariacnne Benedetti, highlighted that the new digital application of this institution is designed to facilitate access to cultural information and improve the services offered to the public. Benedetti explained that the new "APP" of the Ministry of Culture concentrates on a single platform information about programs, projects, cultural activities, heritage sites, and services that the entity develops throughout the country. The tool aims to strengthen communication with cultural promoters and bring the state's cultural offer to the Panamanian population in a more agile and accessible manner. The Vice Minister emphasized that this application also represents an opportunity for the tourism sector, as it will allow national and foreign visitors to quickly learn about the cultural activities, festivals, museums, and points of interest that take place in the different regions of the country. This is contributing to the promotion of Panama's cultural heritage. Cultural promoters from the province of Veraguas positively valued the initiative, stating that the use of digital platforms facilitates the dissemination of events and strengthens the cultural work carried out in communities. They also highlighted the importance of the ministry maintaining direct dialogue spaces with cultural actors from the interior of the country. This new application is part of the Ministry of Culture's efforts to modernize services, promote digital transformation, and encourage greater citizen participation in cultural affairs, with a view to strengthening national identity and cultural development in all provinces.
