The Institute for Training and Human Resource Utilization (IFARHU) will open the 2026 call for the Economic Support Program for Students with Disabilities, with an application period extending from January 26 to February 6, 2026. According to the entity, this scholarship is aimed at students with disabilities at the primary, secondary, and university levels, and seeks to provide financial backing to allow them to continue and strengthen their academic training process. Applications will be submitted virtually through www.ifarhu.gob.pa, where applicants must complete the registration form and keep the assigned password to later check if they have been pre-selected. To apply, it is essential to meet the following requirements: For Basic General and Media levels (OFFICIAL AND PRIVATE INSTITUTIONS): Medical diagnosis from a specialist at the Social Security Fund, Children's Hospital, Santo Tomás Hospital, private hospitals, or health center, with a seal and medical record, valid for no more than twelve (12) months; or if you have a SENADIS card or the IPHE school certificate. Enrolled in the education system. For University level (OFFICIAL AND PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES): First-time applicants: Medical diagnosis from a specialist at the Social Security Fund, Children's Hospital, Santo Tomás Hospital, private hospitals, or health center, with a seal and medical record, valid for no more than twelve (12) months; or if you have a SENADIS card or the IPHE school certificate. Enrolled in the education system. Continuing studies: Medical diagnosis from a specialist at the Social Security Fund, Children's Hospital, Santo Tomás Hospital, private hospitals, or health center, with a seal and medical record, valid for no more than twelve (12) months; or if you have a SENADIS card or the IPHE school certificate. Enrolled in the education system. The student must be in regular status (completed subjects according to the study plan).
