Over 19,000 beneficiaries in Panama will receive new Clave Social cards to collect state aid in March. Card distribution will be held from March 3-6.

Panama Card Change for March Payments

Over 19,000 state aid recipients will need to get their new 'Clave Social' social cards right before the March payment. A total of 19,417 cards will be issued for beneficiaries aged 120 to 65, as well as for participants in the Ángel Guardián, Red de Oportunidades, and SENAPAN programs. Most of the replacements are due to expiration: 17,964 cards that are no longer valid and 1,453 new ones for those entering the system for the first time. The card distribution will take place from Tuesday, March 3, to Friday, March 6, 2026. All official information will be disseminated exclusively through MIDES channels. Each beneficiary will be contacted and must go to their regional, provincial, or comarcal address on the day and time they are instructed. These cards will be used to collect the March payment, scheduled from the 10th to the 21st. To get the new card, you must bring a valid ID in original and copy. If a legal representative is collecting the payment, they must also present the papers that accredit them. From this group, 164,578 people collect through the 'Clave Social' card, almost 9 out of every 10 beneficiaries. Bringing the expired card helps the process to be faster. MIDES warns that this process is personal and free of charge. It's not a matter of just showing up. You don't have to pay anyone or be fooled by intermediaries.
