Panama - Agroferias, stores, and distributors of the Agromarketing Institute (IMA) will be closed next week, as announced by the entity this Friday. The IMA stated that this measure was taken "due to the national deployment of security forces within the framework of the Carnival Operation", as they will be unable to provide the required logistical and security support for the entity's activities. Therefore, starting Monday, February 9th, agroferias will be suspended nationwide, while permanent stores and distributors will remain closed from Friday, February 13th. In the coming days, the IMA will announce on which date these sales points will reopen to the public.
