The Ministry of Public Security (Minseg) is steadily fulfilling historical labor obligations by disbursing over $9.5 million in seniority bonuses to former officials from various security sectors of the country, according to a Minseg press release.

These payments correspond to rights acquired by public servants of the National Police, the National Borders Service, the National Aeronaval Service, the National Migration Service, and the ministry's administrative headquarters, as part of a management process aimed at ordering, sanitizing, and institutional commitments in the security sector.

Furthermore, as an example of financial responsibility, Minseg has incorporated an additional $4.1 million into the 2026 budget to ensure the continuity of disbursements and honor the commitments made by the current administration since mid-2025.

According to the latest official report, $9,502,502.34 has been paid to beneficiaries, and 257 checks remain available for withdrawal, amounting to $707,752.01.
